Frequently Asked Questions
I speak Spanish and can offer my services bilingually. If you have other language access needs, I can also partner with language-justice-focused interpreters to design a
service that works for you.
Do you offer services in other languages?
What are your rates?
I work on a flat rate basis, basing my quote on the specifically tailored service or intervention we develop together.
Initial consultations are always free! Please reach out and we can discuss a solution that works for you.
I have a particular commitment to making my services available to grassroots organizing groups and activists. Please reach out if cost is a barrier.
Who do you work with?
My services are intended for any group (or group member) that wants to work together more collaboratively and without unnecessary harm.
I only work with groups that agree to certain parameters regarding transparency in decision-making, procedure, confidentiality, and resource allocation for any of my consulting endeavors.
Do you have confidentiality norms?
All of my work depends on a foundational relationship of trust. I maintain firm and transparent boundaries around confidential conversations and do not engage in work that would require me to not respect the confidentiality of all group members.
At the same time, I do require certain levels of transparency from decision-makers that are made clear at the beginning of the consulting relationship. Confidentiality cannot be used to circumvent these expectations.
Where do you work?
I am currently located in the Triangle, but I work throughout the state of North Carolina, in east Tennessee and in southern Virginia. I am also able to virtually offer some of my services in any location.
Aren't you an attorney?
I am a licensed attorney in the state of North Carolina. I do not provide any legal services or advice as part of my consulting work. My career in service of social change and justice, which has led me to this work, pre and postdates
my law degree.
